As Muffy came out of her drug-induced sleep, she could make out a rectangular object hanging on the wall. She tried over and over again to focus on that object, until she finally recognized it. "A calendar!", thought Muffy. "I wonder how long I've been in here?". Then she noticed the calendar was turned to May. "May!?!?", thought Muffy. "Good grief! I've been out for a long time." As she continued to stare at the calendar, she realized that the upcoming Sunday was Mother's Day. Which, of course, depressed our poor sweet Muffy. Never had any children. And, since she can't seem to find a steady guy, probably never will. Alas, Muffy didn't have her own mother to share the day with, either.
