Hi ACF. Somebody is manipulating the gold price down, QCOM up, jobs up [QUALCOMM is a ringleader in that conspiracy as they held a jobs fair recently to employ another swarm of people signonsandiego.com ]. We should specify "good" jobs too, which I assume means "high-paying" jobs. There's a conspiracy for every event. Mostly I think it's just everybody trying to improve their positions, many of them in a thieving way rather than a Libertarian voluntary association way. The outcome is people want to work and people want them to develop software so they make a deal. People are crazed over cyberphones. I think literally crazed - it's a global psychosis which will end the reign of couch potato goggle box psychosis. In China, they are going nuts over cyberphones. They are not going nuts over buying gold or cars. There isn't enough gold on Earth for many people at all to go nuts over it. There isn't enough gold to act as a currency for 6 billion people. Here's the current vote: G = 415 versus Q = 692 at the close. The Q was below the G a couple of years ago when I started linking the two to compare Aztec values with cyberspacoid ideas. 1Q = 10q q = current share price of QUALCOMM in Uncle Sam and Uncle Al [KBE]'s fiat currency, US$, which is backed by the mental stability and good sense of the USA electorate. G = the price of gold in US$. Of course we have not reached the end of time travel and a lot will happen before the end of the long run. Uncle Al is down, but not out. He has cut the price of US$ to boost demand and there are billions of people who have taken up his offer and increased their demand for said US$, much of it on credit at low interest rates. He has pixelated another umpty billion of brand new US$ as well, which the US government is having a LOT of fun spending, boosting the total number of US$ zooming around the world. At some stage, he is going to explain that the US$ is worth somewhat more than the current interest rate and that he is reluctantly going to have to increase the price to reduce the demand for loans. Like any drug addict, the borrowers will find themselves on the hook and having a lot of trouble to kick the habit. Then, gold, which earns no interest sitting in the cellar or buried in the garden or hidden in Fort Knox or safely tucked up in the bank vault, will lose its lustre. More useful metals such as aluminium, platinum and palladium will be in greater demand. <...I can not prove that Americans are not being abducted by aliens... > ACF, being an alien, I can assure you that I am indeed abducting Americans. I have taken over QUALCOMM and a couple of other things and have hypnotized honest, red-blooded Americans into applying their talents to producing CDMA cyberphone technologies and making money for me. I am paying taxes to King George II who is taking over the world for me using USA political and military services. QUALCOMM and the USA are hiring Indians and Chinese to do my bidding [among others]. Basically, we aliens are taking over the world. We are benign though. We are doing it on a voluntary basis. Some people do oppose the process, so the USA military and UN peacekeeping forces have to keep order while people enjoy working for QUALCOMM and buying the products. Even Yiwu will be locked into the process soon. It's not the old style evil empire process where totalitarian thugs murder, rob, pillage and plunder. That's had its day. Now it's It's day. Everyone will flock to this new empire because it's a voluntary one, with mutual benefit with each getting a consumer surplus. I get profits, employees get money more than their effort is worth to them, customers get more value from their purchase than the money they pay. Everyone wins. It's a win, win, win, Winn process. Yiwu and others are still stuck in ye olde days of chimpoid dominance hierarchy and kleptocracy. They'll gradually be subsumed by civilization though they'll do some more bombings and killings before we aliens rule the world. So, aliens are in the process of taking over, but it's really more of an integration process than an old-style "taking over" process such as those adopted by Attila, Ghengis, Caesar, Hirohito, Stalin or Adolf. Mqurice PS: We aliens identify ourselves as such when entering the USA. The Americans fingerprint and photograph us we are so important. They don't even charge for the service.
