It's easy for us as Americans to look at these situations in the 3rd world from afar and say how we would or wouldn't conduct ourselves. Do you really think that if the Mexicans came across the border and decided to sack our government and impose their rule through force, Americans would just shrug it off and accept it?!? We are certainly as capable as any country on earth of perpetrating inhuman and barbaric acts. A brief review of our hideous behavior in Viet Nam should clue you into this fact (My Lai, among many attorcities). Don't think Americans wouldn't resort to the same brutality against a foreign occupier if we were put in the same situation.

"let me tell you how I wouldn't act - I wouldn't bomb their non-military construction workers - I wouldn't then pull their charred bodies out of the car only to drag them in the streets - I wouldn't be dancing and singing and smiling for cameras - I wouldn't be poking and leering at those bodies - I wouldn't then hang those tragically mutilated bodies up high on a bridge for all the world to see"

If that's what it took to make them go away, then that's what I would do.

Vlad the Impaler impaled thousands of muslim invaders ... it worked.
