<Now why would we kill them> Possibility 1) we might kill them to cover the fact that there were no programs and "we" don't want them to be able to harm Bush re-election prospects by verifying that WMD work was effectively dismantled by the UN inspectors -- dead men tell no tales. 2) we might kill them to keep them from building WMD -- pretty far-fetched.
