Your right! I wasn't doing it right. I just found out what I should've done. It was to go to "my network places" and create two windows, one for the win98 and the other for xp. Then drag and drop.

Somehow I had to deal with a dialog box about sharing for each folder. I haven't had the time to experiment with this new computer.

I do like XP Pro. Think I'll dump my ole win98 computer and get another one with XP Pro.

Oh! One question. I don't like the names of both computers.
If I change the names, would this effect the file addresses etc. etc. of previous or ongoing transfers?
