He remains within his home and seldom, if ever, ventures out with all discussions between himself and the CPA being handled by proxies. What is the main policy difference between Sistani and the criminal? If you can't see that, maybe you need to do a bit more research.. In sum, Al-Sistani has effectively taken the position that he's comfortable with supporting a separation between the government and the Mosques. Sadr has vocally called for a Islamic Republic in Iraq, modeled after the failed system in Iran. And of course, the Iranian hardline government in Iran has given support to Sadr's agenda. Hawk
