Perhaps AMD's 90-nm process isn't expected to ramp as quickly as forecasted and won't get as much cost savings from the smaller dies. Anandtech's roadmap from a few weeks ago showed the 2.6GHz A64 (presumably 90-nm) recently slipped a quarter to Q1 2005 instead of Q4 2004. I'm guessing that also means any lower clocked 90-nm A64s might be delayed as well.
