Of course the issue has little here to do with respect for the law. Rainy was not assailing an alleged disrespect for the law. She was fallaciously using the fact of law to imply that her view on abortion logically trumps all others such that she needs not defend it.

If that is the case, then we ought just give up arguments against any bad law. Leftists win, period, because the fact that the law exists means no defense is needed for it.

thank you counselor, yes, it is law and those who follow it are within the law to choose and have the weight of the law on their side

they are doing nothing illegal
