Rainy was not assailing an alleged disrespect for the law. She was fallaciously using the fact of law to imply that her view on abortion logically trumps all others such that she needs not defend it. If that is the case, then we ought just give up arguments against any bad law. Leftists win, period, because the fact that the law exists means no defense is needed for it.
