Doug, Wake yourself up from your stupor. It's way past time for you to get beyond the headlines and realize that the U.S. government and George Bush's criminal band of thugs in particular, is an evil force. There is no redeeming quality to it any longer. While Bush condemns American citizens at home to early deaths by rolling back EPA standards, he illegally and immorally incarcerates innocent men in Guantanemo Bay in flagrant disregard for international legal standards. And in Iraq, the new American policy is to ruthlessly, brutally and arbitrarily terrorize the population, while stealing every asset in sight. I'm shocked, shocked that someone with your capacity for business cannot see the evil that Bush is engaged in. Certainly the destruction of local businesses in Iraq so that KFC franchisees can move in cannot be morally justified, though the bottom line might be good. But that is what is being provided for by the mercenaries who are murderers for hire in Iraq. You cannot call our military or its contractors anything more, or anything less. It's a disgusting example of capitalism run amok, with venomous profiteers extracting value from the blood of the people. It's immoral, and I'm frankly saddened and shocked that you don't get it. You must not get out of your insular little world of propaganda and self-delusion very often. Why don't you just go back to watching the Faux News and try to lose a few more brain cells?
