I do understand you here. I just wanted to point out that respect for the law is not at issue. I respect Roe, not because I agree with it. I respect it because I agree with our legal system. I am working within that system to change the law. But what RDW has claimed here is that she needs not defend her position because her position is legal. It is a flawed view. Slavery was once legal and yet it needed a defense. The last time people in America took the view that a law needed no defense because it is just the law, we came to blows about it. Our legal system permits challenges to law. It is just inappropriate and wrong to claim that simply because a thing is in law, it is unassailable.
