What else do you think we should 'handle' again?
We handle what we have to handle. That's what life is. Perfection is not only unattainable, it's undefinable.

Those deficits are not exceptional even for a peacetime period. For a wartime period, they're not bad at all. That liberal icon, FDR, did MUCH worse during WW2. LBJ did worse.

If good, then we should have the biggest deficits we can produce so let's spend like banshees.
Isn't that good liberal Keynesian economics for a recessionary period?

The deficits will be with us even when rates rise.
We've had higher interest rates and tax rates with proportionately larger deficits. You want the proof, I can get it.

Can anyone else remember when, during a time of war, we cut taxes to boot?
The tax cut was passed before 911. Should it be repealed? Probably.
