Ed Gillespie, the chinless RNC guy who was Enron's chief lobbyist is working hard to try and shut down the 527s. That would have made PA 1-to-10 in Kerry-Bush spending. ============== Air America has syndicated Ed Schultz (never heard of him until now) who sounds just like Rush Limbaugh (I did a double take). The Dems are starting to get the idea that it's not just those campaign dollars but all the other stuff: talk radio, private groups, think tanks, op/eds, etc. that sway opinion. Nice to see Kerry raised a huge amount of money in Q1: $40-$50million which was what Gore raised in a single year. The media will be very fat and happy this year. The media can start acting like lawyers. They just start a war with each other and get paid big bucks to fight it.
