I'm Bored: There's Nothing to Buy and I Refuse to Play in the Nanotechs. I just can't find anything right now that fits my style--it feels like "everything" has already been discovered. I still have a position in silver but even the oil bores me. Even Baghdad real estate has shot up--from what I understand. So too with Kabul real estate. I went to open houses this weekend. My wife and I are looking to buy our first house. Our area is not insane price wise--but, it has moved certainly. I remembered the Bear stalks for its prey where it can hurt the most number of people with a gashing swipe of its claw. Housing. Oh, man.
