Of course, you can always see the crowds on TV, but I guess the cameras are anti-American.

Cameras are not the problem. It is how they are used to fool the public. That plus the accompanying headlines. A camera shot showing a mass of demonstrators is proof of a huge turnout, but, when the camera is lifted to view a wider field there are only very few demonstrators present. Strange, but the promoters say 500,00 demonstrators, the authorities , who use a grid system for an reliable count, say 50,000. An old trick, and , of course, the head line can describe them as an anti-American crowd, when the opposite is true, or most came out for the party, or to see what is going on. Then they are the paid demos, will go anywhere, anytime for a bus ride and a lunch, and a nights lodging, if necessary. Professionals to the core, because they have nothing better to do. Need a bunch dressed up like cops, or vets, or blue haired old ladies? How about a bunch with union emblems. No problemo.Any group of demonstrators can be bought at a moments notice. Big market during election years. I didn't think the average person was as naive as you seem to be about these demonstrators. When, in Iraq, for example, ten thousand actually turn out, that means approx 25 million didn't, but that is not the way the press and left wing media report it. I could go on and on, but you should get the picture.
The left wing demohacks seem to be praying for failure of our economy and a setback in Iraq for their own selfish political purposes. Shame.
