Bush lost 2.75 million manufacturing jobs. very few of those had anything to do with mergers. Kery would make it expensive to send American jobs overseas. That will level the playing field. Bush thinks outsourcing to the third world is fine and dancy. Why? Because his corporate contributors tell him so. Personally, he has no clue.

republicans can't win on this jobs issue. Truth be told the job loss under Bush is actually *understated*. The main culprit in job loss is offshore outsourcing which is enabled by the internet. Clinton didn't have this matter to deal with, Bush does but the problem is that the Bush team is in complete denial and in excuse mode about it EVEN THOUGH there are financial tv shows like Lou Dobbs who dwell on employment *daily*.

Most US citizens don't want to have to compete with some guy in a 3rd world country for their job, and voters are angry about this, while Bush continues to make excuses and call for training at community colleges, even though white collar professionals are in the most danger of job loss.

Bush should act like he has a clue instead of all these excuses. He's going down in ohio and the rust belt anyway on this but if he wants to salvage the other states he needs a better schtick.
