Hugh Shelton and from President Bush himself -- who told Bob Woodward for Bush at War that "I didn't have that sense of urgency" about Al-Qaeda before 9/11 -- indicates that significant parts of Mr. Clarke's testimony are correct. The Bush administration threatens to tell what it knows. Why is that a threat? It should be a promise.
