The 9/11 report will be out before the election, at least it appears that way now. Bush's ace-in-the-hole is if he is able to catch Osoma just before the election. But, even that boost wouldn't overcome a bad economy and a war that is dragging on. Nader won't be much of a factor this fall either. I think the left side of the poltical spectrum is riled up enough this time to turn out and vote Bush out of office.

It appears that Ralph Nader is having trouble getting on to the ballot in Oregon. He couldn't get 1,000 supporters to a rally recently to get his name on the ballot. Now he has to try to collect 15,000 signatures in 3 months to qualify for the Oregon ballot. I think Nader won't be much of a factor this fall. He'll be lucky if he gets on a dozen state ballots. He doesn't have the organization or time to make much of a showing this fall. The election is only 6 months away now. A lot of those Nader supporters are going to vote for Kerry this fall, which will give him a much needed shot in the arm.
