Notwithstanding the absurdity of "corporate taxes", the practice of tax avoidance happens to be legal. When you deduct your mortgage, you are practicing tax avoidance.

On a more fundamental note, however, is the fact that untaxed corporate profits eventually appear as taxed income through taxes on dividend or capital gains, or through employee income taxes. Unfortunately, our tax code has the inescapable 'pay me now or pay me later' handcuffs built right in.
