hedge against what? it went down with stocks. i had it as a hedge and didnt' work worth sh*t

hmnnn... strangely bothers me when you have similar thinking. ;-)

I have a little gold. NGX (NXG in US), PDG though. Not small names. Might not retain them for long. a) Gold and b) Copper contracts have already broken down from a) test of top and b) a triangle - both pausing today - no decisions being made by commodity traders today. 1-3 days from now we'll see if they've done the big reversal and moved higher or continue down.

Short term gold impact is more from US$ I think than Nasdaq.

Currencies hanging on a edge here. USDJPY may have moved up but other major USD pairs are hanging on at or near important tests and consolidation zones. No idea which way it will break open only know that the break is much closer now than it was 2 weeks ago. Probably time to say "any day now".
