well if the misery index involves the BS government statistics, maybe that is the issue hmmmm? We both know we have more inflation than the index is showing, as far as your average family is concerned. Your average voter is hurt by gas prices and gets *no* relief from the lack of pricing power in the labor market for example.

As far as Bush spending like a democrat, there has never been a big spender like Bush, he has no peers.
