I pledged a monthly amount from Mar through July. They'll hit your credit card for it on a monthly basis. I started doing something similar after Bush was installed in the White House but stopped when Congress gave Bush special powers after 9/11. I didn't give the Dems money so they could become Bush dittoheads!!

I started contributing to the Kerry campaign and increased the amount cause he really needs funds right now.
