w2....Is the national media "behind" as usual? 9 Iraqi scientists killed by Saddam loyalists since April 2003. One would think the so called national media ought to hang their head in shame, not only to not report this, but to not investigate the situation as much as possible.

Interesting story, it could be spin. Finding the WMDs though, would certainly help the president. You can't be sure it is not our side doing the killing to create the impression Baathists have something to hide. You know how many millions of dollars the US would pay any one of the those scientists or their underlings for some real dirt on the WMDs. Not having come up with any credible info leads me and others to suspect there never were WMDs.
