Well, the Shi'ites were dormant so far. They have erupted now. What if the Kurds decide to do something? If the US coddles them, then they might start fights in Turkey and/or Iran. And there will be a Sunni-Shi'ite-Kurd conflagration in the rest of Iraq with the majority in any region attacking the minority and occasionally banding together to attack the US troops.

Aiyiyiyiyi... what a mess! Who would want to vote for a guy that made us hug this tarbaby?!
