Yes, We Are Still in the Midst of the Wine Glut.

OZ pioneered many techniques which have allowed them to sell tastier stuff, and at lower prices. Something the French are "barred" from doing is Night Harvesting, which the Australians figured out makes for a fuller tasting grape as moisture is released in the coolness of the night--leaving a more concentrated grape. The French have labor laws against "that sort of thing."

We pretty much drink only OZ and NZ wine in this house--not only because it's delicious but for patriotic reasons. (My wife is a Kiwi).
