Look, you just can't alienate every other nation in the world and expect to hang on to any sort of peace in this world. Bush has no right demanding much of anything from any UN members due to his track record. If countries like Russia and Germany are making noise that they "might" consider Iraq under the UN, Bush needs to consider the deal, we're talking about too many american lives here and no chance of calming the situation in Iraq until a sense of real international authority like the UN intervenes. Those iraqis will fight Americans until every one of them is dead, and this was obvious to most prior to the invasion.
