From Briefing.com <<10:59 ET Sector Watch: Semiconductor : This volatile group is one of the worst performing today with the index (SOX 501.30 -1.3%) extending the two day pullback to -3.4%. The largest percentage losses today are being posted by INTC -2.4%, TER -2.7%, LSI -1.8%, MU -1.8%, MXIM -1.7%, NVLS -1.5%, MOT -1.4%, KLAC -1.3%. Thus far the index has held near the 500 psych barrier but sustained follow through beyond 502 and 504 is needed to help neutralize today's weaker tone. Next support is at its 50 day simple mov avg at 498. The Semi HOLDRs (SMH 40.30 -1.4%) has already breached its 50 day avg at 40.60.>>
