It's not "proof" all by itself, but it does support the inference, which makes it relevant and admissible as circumstantial evidence. Sometimes (usually, actually) circumstantial evidence is all you have, but if you have enough of it, eventually, it's "proof."

Too soon to tell, but not grasping at straws, either.
