Russia hasn't been involved in any widespread civil wars, nor does it have a foreign occupier...
Some say that Russia is still no better off... The situation now is that the Communists have been replaced by the Oil/industrialist barons, who in bed with Putin and his corrupt regime, who are raping the economy by off-shoring all their ill-gotton profits. It's just a changing of the guard with "different" political stripes.

And Germany was starving, and there wasn't a stone left on a stone in Japan. Of course, they were both a lot SMARTER than subhuman Islam...

"Iraq Worse Off Now Than With Saddam

One year after collapse of Soviet system Russia was worse off than under Communists it also was worse off 2,3, 4,5 6,7
years after and complete disaster in 1998.

Sounds about right.......and Russia's was an internal change of gov't and not one fostered by a foreign power like in Iraq. It may take ten years and mucho $$$ to make it happen for Iraq.

Thanks Mr. Bush.
