>>> Bush is gonna have the whole muslim world - from Indonesia to Morroco thirsting for American blood. Never mind Iraq just wait till this goes global.<<<

I think Bush, the moment he circumvented the United Nations and unilaterally and illegally began his war against Iraq, already has succeeded in doing this. Bush's blindness has set any kind of progress on improving Muslim-US relations back at least a whole generation if not two of them.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT.. MY GOD they wash their feet and hands outside before entering. The women are not allowed. IT is a religious rite for them. I watched a service and it is just magnificent... The call to worship is so moving as the microphones call out over the entire City about 6 am every morning. I have always had the greatest respect for all religions but there is something very special about the dedication of the Muslim to his religion as several times a day he must face EAST and pray. Can you imagine the entire UNITED STATES doing that all at one time and yet this is what happens. AND WE BOMBED IT. I AM SICK.I cry as I write this not only for those poor people but what we have brought down on ourselves.

Five US Marines dead in Fallujah
From correspondents in Baghdad
April 8, 2004

FIVE US Marines were killed today by gunfire from within the mosque in the Iraqi city of Fallujah that was under attack from US forces, a Central Command spokesman said.

US marines pressing an offensive Fallujah, west of Baghdad, bombed a central mosque earlier and killed up to 40 insurgents holed up inside, a marine officer in Iraq said.

The bombing came after several hours of small arms and rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) fire from insurgents.

Earlier, The Associated Press reported the military as saying two US marines had been killed in fighting in Fallujah over the past two days.

But it said the marines had not given a full casualty count.
