Issuing statements from whom? The UN, France, Germany and Russia just loved the fact that the US and Great Britain were spending billions of dollars a year to contain Iraq with flyovers while they reaped the benefits of the corrupt oil for food program they totally controlled and skimmed billions from. It is my opinion that the US knew this and presented Tony Blair with the evidence. After 9/11 the Bush administration took all of the current intelligence available......passed on from the previous administration......and put Iraq at the top of the list in the wot. Syria, NK and Iran are involved. They are all hornet nests for terrorists determined to wipe you and me off the face of the earth. Go hide your head under a pillow.
