Laz, I don't exactly remember the purpose of the study. I did and do think it was an incredibly cruel think to do to the dogs. Dogs don't have the lung capacity of humans.

Because of the obvious problem with a dog's anatomy, the researchers had rigged up some sort of contraption that would mimic a human's nicotine delivery. I recall that the dogs did get addicted. The researchers also checked on the dogs' survival rates.
