You sort of answered that question when you said it would be a good thing. My instinct was that, if it ain't broke, why amend the Constitution. I just can't get past that first question. I guess someone must have raised it somewhere of they wouldn't have asked that survey question. OTOH, they had a whole survey the other day on perceptions of Italian Americans and that doesn't seem broke, either. At least not broke enough to have a survey to itself.
