Area, I mentioned in one of my posts that knowledgeable others suggest $60 or less for spd glass. This, of course, was a speculative estimate. Ultimately, the price may be greater or less than $60. I personally have no way of knowing for sure. I was impressed with the people who conveyed this to me, but I'm sure they were making best guess estimates of the production process. On the other hand, even at $60 per square foot this is compatible with other kinds of specialty glass. For instance, bullet proof glass runs anywhere from $20 sq. ft to up to $100 sq. ft and I think it's fair to say that there is a potentially larger market for spd glass.
