Thanks, Kerry, I think you are probably right.

One thing I am seeing which causes quite a bit of distress is that people are careless about locking in interest rates when they consolidate several different loans. Graduate school loans have much higher interest rates, traditionally, than undergrad loans, and for some strange reason people don't notice that they're locking in undergrad loans at graduate loan interest rate levels, nor that, once done, this apparently cannot be undone.

I am trying to orient my practice more towards bankruptcies and this is a hot topic in the bankruptcy industry these days.
