Why is it when you people talk of our deficits you never talk about
1. The recession Bush inherited
2. The corporate corruption Bush inherited (which effects capital markets)
3. The worst terrorist attack on US soil in our history.
4. The need to gear up for a long, world wide battle against terrorism.

From where I sit, the only expense Bush has made that is truly questionable is the Medicare prescription program. Personally, I think that he was merely reacting to the PROMISES to people made many times in the past and in the long run I think it will prove to be a good thing. Isnt fighting illness with drugs cheaper then fighting it with operations? jdn
