I think the percent rises quoted were in energy units not power

30,000 MW does seem like a large capacity shortfall -- but depends on load factor -- suppose the load duration curve is very narrowly peaked -- big economic impact for those affected, but not as bad as it sounds for a whole nation??

I bet they curtail everything but industry first -- what do you think??
