I went to school where they taught that Lincoln saved the Union, emancipated the slaves, and ended slavery forever. If he hadn't done all that, there would be two American nations. One of them would have slavery until it died of economic suffocation. Any two individuals on the planet don't smell the same. My wife, for example, smells better than me, not counting her perfume. If Lincoln said that, what the heck difference does it make? Where did you go to school? Where they teach that American heroes are villains?
