JakeStraw: Even the usual left wing whacks will be unable to respond to that post.

Where was the commission investigating the WTC bombing in 1993, asking what was known before and what was done to prevent the bombing. Maybe if Clinton had declared war on terror after that attack, the twin towers would still be standing and the thousands that died would still be among the living.

Of course, it has never been about serving their country for many of the DemoSocialist, but about acquiring and retaining power. They are truly a despicable bunch...

I agreed with every point in that post...until reaching this portion:

Since then, Bush has won two wars against countries that harbored Muslim fanatics...

What "two wars" have we "won"? To me, it looks like we're still fighting two wars with no clear end in sight to either of them.

...captured Saddam Hussein...

Yes, that's true. I personally don't think he had anything to do with 9/11 but, yes, Saddam Hussein is in U.S. custody.

...immobilized Osama bin Laden...

I don't know that Bin Laden has been "immobilized." What I do know, though, is that to know that something or someone has been 'immobilized' one would have to know where they are, and we certainly don't know where Osama Bin Laden is: this is akin to saying, "we don't know where he is, but we know that wherever he is, he can't move at all." Huh?

...destroyed al-Qaida's base...

We destroyed one of al Qaeda's bases: certainly a meritorious task, and long overdue. However - and unfortunately - terrorists are notoriously inconsiderate, and tend to move around a lot: Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Yemen, Waziristan, the Philippines, Chechnya...

...and begun to create the only functioning democracy in the Middle East other than Israel.

Is Iraq a "functioning democracy" yet? Not that I am aware of.
