but re the commodity bull -- I think there are good reasons to think some cost pressure will persist, even after China cools ... the idea of a calamity for diversified commodity investors is a joke -- call it a wall of worry and buy with both hands, IMO.

Silver is very popular in India and as the Indian economy get more US and EZ jobs there is more money to buy silver - smelling the moderate rise in silver prices all the speculators banded into silver.

The issue of silver is that it is also a by product of many copper mines and as many copper mines come on stream silver demand will be satisfied.

From my recollection Mexico and Central America have several silver mines many of which were marginal, and I think same in Peru (not sure) and I think that there are also many marginal mines in Eastern Europe and Russia
