<Equity funds report net cash inflows totaling $5.0 billion in the week ended April 7 with 69% going to funds investing in Domestic securities>

Biggest domestic inflow since Jan. 28th, likely retirement account contributions. Institutions make investments at beginning of quarter, and we are in the insider quiet period until earnings are reported over the next two weeks. All probably explains the rally this month to date. Looks nothing like the January melt-up though, and this contribution inflow, quiet period doesn't have much longer to run.
