Martin, thanks again for all the work you have done over the years. Its been great fun and I have thoroughly enjoyed the thread and the community. Like all things VD Model must come to an end. I have not been able to spend the time necessary to keep the portfolio current since the new year and it is time move on.

VD was a interesting experiment and I think the returns have been good. We have had great highs and some very difficult lows. The point is that investing is a long term game. As a mentor once told me " remember, life is a marathon not a sprint". Those words certainly hold true for investing. We almost lost it with too much leverage but held on, survived and ultimately produced respectable results.

There is a great community here on SI. I don't contribute much anymore as I have been so busy with career and family that I don't feel I have had much to add. I do monitor some of the better threads such as biotech valuation and will continue to participate from time to time. Thanks again to all who have contributed to this thread over the years.
