Protect habitat for water fowl so they can shoot them, you mean. Hey, it's not altogether a bad thing. At least it keeps the extreme right NRA types from supporting the complete devastation of wetlands. They want 10% left for hunting purposes. Notice though that these NRA "environmentalists" are the only ones Bush will speak to. Otherwise he and Cheney are the most destructive environmental president team in history. For them, only the very rich should be allowed unspoiled nature. All public lands are open for exploitation, and if we have to breathe and drink more toxins, tough luck.
