my limited experience and knowledge of them agrees with your scenario slick and slippery in their word, they are nearly impossible to do business with if you got your entire fee or paid at all for your services, you're lucky as an interesting side - a friend of mine was engaged to a saudi man, met him in the states where he was attending college - many of the saudis send their sons to college in America - the guys love it here, so much more than their home, they will stretch their college years as long as they possibly can, till usually they are ordered back home they hang together naturally and like to party - but it is an odd party style - when you would bump into them somewhere, they would be knotted together in a group with various American girlfriends along - if they knew you, their eyes would follow you till you made contact and then they would nod at you rather than just come over and say hi - if you didn't nod back it was considered an insult they also loved smoking a tobacco soaked in wine from a strange looking hookah I have tons of stories btw, they didn't marry, his father would not allow him to marry a non-muslim [I think fate stepped in and dealt her the deal of a lifetime]
