Zbyte, I don't think it's the motherboard you should be concerned with but the CPU and the memory not to mention a decent hard drive. I run Photoshop, Encore DVD, Acrobat professional, Pagemaker 7 along with Photo album and I'm running an AMD Duron 1.8 with 256 mb memory. I could use more memory though. A decent video card is important too. I use the AMD site to do some of my research when I'm building a system as far as CPU and motherboards go. I like AMD cause they are half the price of Intel and run just as well. After I've done my research as to what I need I go to www.pricewatch.com to find my components.
