Best of luck with persuading your client. Since it often hard to sell someone that their pet idea or project has too much risk of loss, maybe you can point out opportunity cost of having funds and energy tied up, and hint at other projects they could do...I have seen mothers do this with small children. Optimism.... Sometimes it is useful to count one's blessings with a feeling of gratitude, then to list the opportunities. Too often many people try to "solve problems" instead of grabbing opportunities. Have a happy Easter.
