What you don't get is that war isn't a video game where you can 'nihilate them with a button and then go to the bar for beer.

Nor is it a board game where you can pretend to be Xerxes at Salamis and use a few more trireme tokens to change the outcome.

It isn't even a history channel video which you can watch while daydreaming of Patton entering Moscow.

It's not you and your buddies breaking for a lunch of peanut butter sandwiches while fighting at the Alamo.

It's not a comic book about Neville Chamberlain.

It's not a mixed up metaphor about Athens and Empire.

It isn't fought in an armchair.

And of course, what ever war is, it's not shown on FOX.

What you also don't get is that cultures don't span generations while avenging a peace.

Many others on this thread are eager to leave progeny the bill for their gluttony. Just because you are willing to add genocide to the tab doesn't make you more generous.
