You mean she didn't ace Filibuster 10A? These people failed us. I don't know if any of 911 could have been prevented regardless of whatever they did, but nonetheless, they failed us because they didn't get alarmed about OBL, despite the title of the PDB. Shrub was playing on the Crawdaddy Ranch, and Rice...? In DC. Where was the alarm about the warnings? Why wasn't CR aware of all the stuff out there. 5 minutes went by while she said "I wasn't aware of that". Why not? Mike McCurry? said, based on his Clinton years, that when the Prez tells FBI,CIA, & Clarke to" give me every thing you have in 4 hours", they go back and beat all the trees, and things fall out. How many times did Shrub do this? They didn't take it seriously enuf, so they failed us. What would have happened if they had just told the public that there was an increase in intelligence activity, and that there could be an event? Clinton did it daily around the millennium. Would the people on the second plane have figured things out fast enuf to take over the plane? Would the 3rd and 4th planes have been grounded because everybody was aware that there was a highjacking, and there had been threats? Would planes have scrambled? We'll never know, because they didn't shake the trees, and they didn't alert the public. They failed us. She seems to have pretty well corroborated what Clarke put forth as the attitude; well, it's there, but not worth worrying about, because we don't have a specific threat assessment,which means we don't know that a specific event will happen at a specific time. And then.... and then... they took their eyes off the Afgan/OBL ball and lied their way into Iraq, but that's a whole other story. McCurry also said,that, altho Trade Center 1 happened shortly after he became prez, he never once talked about failures of ShrubDaddy.Shrub needs to be a man, and say it happened on his watch, so he ultimately failed. ...and a real salt tear trickles from a plastic eye...
