Why don't you go worry about your country and leave ours to us?

You can CLAIM to know history and your nation all you want. But your posts exhibit a comprehensive ignorance that is common among the typical moron left today.

None of us here is fooled...

As for wasting your time - One look at this thread and your myriad posts adorning it, and anyone can tell that you have so much time that you are trying very hard to waste it by bickering with strangers on the internet.

ROFLMAO!!!

Give them hell!! hahahah...

I would bet that you know more about not only your country's history, but also about the US history, at least more than a good portion of the US population.

Frankly, it looks like you are trying to agitate Americans into civil war. If you had the sense God promised a doorknob, you would probably realize that plays into the hands of your country's enemies.

Indeed... this "civil war" lives in the mind of the extreme right. who pretend to have us believe that the US territory belonged to "Americans" since biblical times -lol! These people believe for some odd reason that it was "ok" taking most of the western territories, (if not the entire country, for that matter), from the Native Americans, and then from Mexicans, and Napoleon (well, ok I will exclude the Louisiana territory, since, that was a genuine act of Jefferson's brilliance... notice a single mind that triggered a deed that allowed the rest of the nation benefit from the greatest real estate transaction ever... --the Alaska purchase probably being the second.)

Let's not forget that dear Tom was a great admirer and consumer of wine... (yes, there are a few bottles of Chateau d'Yquem 1784 & 1787 (over 200 years old) -the greatest wine of Sauternes, indeed the only wine of Sauternes classified as a Great Growth -in a class of its own, above the many first growths of Sauternes, which had the initials, T.J. supposedly owned by Jefferson

Do you think that wine had something to do with ole' TJ's inspiration ? I do. Too bad these days Budweiser is far more popular... -g

But back to 'cowboys & indians' -g

Remember... we were in a time when "civilization" was considered shooting buffalos from a travelling train 'ok' and normal... the term 'savage' was given to a guy who lived by the seasons, hardly dressed, but respectful of nature... AKA "red-skinned"

Today, the behavior of a college student on leave for "spring-break" is considered "ok" by the same people who called the Native American a savage .... -LOL !!

I forget... do you think that today's red-neck hatred for environmentalists is just a casual thing... ? I doubt it... I think there is a connection between the old west thirst for indian blood from the pioneer 'hero' who was bent to conquer the west at all costs and was ready to exterminate (or put in reservations) the natives, who knew quite well how to live in harmony with their surroundings...

I wonder if the term "trailer-trash" has any connection... to all this... after all, trailer park dwellers are known for their 'cleanliness' ... NOT. One only wonders hu?

Oh and why don't we think in terms of NASCAR and its recent popularity amongst "[white] Americans" Do you think NASCAR is true motor-sports? I doubt it... it has more to do with 'moonshinning' -gg I mean ... why would you crash your competitor into the wall... (actually NASCAR is a relief valve for angry white guys -gggg)

whitehouse.gov

For starters, it cannot possibly be motor-sports as they can hardly run a damn race without a near catastrophic crash... (not to mention their limited ability to only drive in circles... like politicians -g) it is like riding with trainer wheels... (if you were to put these guys in real racing cars such as open wheel racing with turns in every direction), I doubt half the field would last....

However, one thing does puzzle me about NASCAR... They ONLY turn to the LEFT !! -lol there must be a hidden message in that... -ggg

The term "American"... is not quite accurate... Argentineans, Brazilians, etc. are all "Americans" (the southern kind)

Even the term "North American" is still not quite exact.... Canadians are more NorthAmericans than US citizens/residents... -g even Mexicans are part of NorthAmerica... (in fact they are taking over actually -roflol)

If you do a survey, (about 'Americans's' favorite subject, i.e. Geography -lol-) ask them where is Belize... or... name the countries in Central America... -roflol- of course, you have to do it in real life, as Google could be an unbeatable assistant if you do the survey on the Internet...

Besides, what is it... a little over 200 years ?? ROFLOL no wonder these same morons believe in another stupidity, only made more stupid by their intense believe for such lunacy... i.e. "Creationism" if it was up to them... Creationism would replace science in all of the public schools in this country...

Can you believe that ? well .... better do, that is precisely what they intend...

nytimes.com

ravallinews.com

ravallinews.com

The above are REAL articles....

What is Creationism you ask ? (in short, the opposite of evolution -g]

Creationism.... hmmm in my eyes... a strategy to confuse the already confused, rendering him/her incapable of independent [rational] thought... but I am only a peasant... this will help:

talkorigins.org

and....

Creationism begins with a conclusion. It then collects arguments to support the conclusion or to detract from opposing conclusions. Conclusions are not tested experimentally. The method, known as apologetics, is a form of rationalizing which was employed extensively by the Catholic church to support doctrine especially before Vatican II. Rejecting accepted dogma is heresy, which is punished by excommunication. Apologetics do not improve understanding of the natural world. Since they discourage experiment and are immune to change, they are antiscientific.

geocities.com

This one is satire...

whitehouse.org

ROFLOL !!

This will give you an insight into what these lunatics are into....

geocities.com

and you will get a kick out of this one... (The owner of the site is a scientist -you will love this one) he introduces one of his pages thus:

Welcome to the Christian Pseudoscience Monitor

I'm a chemist-biochemist with little formal training in evolution. When I testified against the "equal time" bill (equal time for creationism and evolution) before the legislative education committee (NE) in 1981, I knew little about creationism. Perhaps it had disappeared in the '30s. Perhaps I'd get challenging arguments from creationists. I was mistaken. Proponents of "equal time" were mostly scientifically illiterate and gullible to the most nonsensical creationism. For example, one proponent told me that there were two sides to the issue, the Christian side vs. everything else (evolution plus New Age speculation, Native American creation myths, etc). Scientific training doesn't prepare one for such logic.

LOL !!

geocities.com

a small pearl....

Apologetics - from the Greek Apologia meaning to defend.

In the secular world apologetics are strange territory. In the religious world however apologetics thrive, particularly where certainty is required. The term retrieves more than 500,000 sites on Google. If you discuss science with fundamentalists, it behooves you to know where they're coming from.

Science begins with hypotheses; apologetics begins with conclusions. Science performs experiments which can disconfirm hypotheses; apologetics avoids such tests (conclusions can never be disconfirmed). Science discovers how the world works; Christian apologetics assures that the world conforms to the Bible (or to church doctrine). Apologetics is not a productive approach to discovering how the world works; science is not a productive method for making the world conform to the bible.

If you think Transylvania is a territory in Romania (with heavy Hungarian population)... However widely known around the world by being the home of count Dracula and his evil vampires... think again... LOL !!

Dracula and acolytes are well and alive in the US... -g

Many of the above lunatics now trumpet that the American interventions throughout the world as a god-given right that the world MUST recognize as such... However, the real reasons are more dependant on "vested American interests" never mind the "charitable goody two shoes altruistic reasons"

The really sad part s that these leaders use the lives of their young under false pretenses to pursue their real objectives...

On the other hand... people get the government they deserve... so if people allow these bastards to lie and the public eat and digest their lies... what can be said?

Is that the real reason that "questioning" the government is deemed "unpatriotic”? Ah yes, there goes the guilt, guilt upon the unwary policy... they want to own the soul (and body) so instead of "citizens" we end up with "zombizens"

Somehow it was 'justified' to take and invade the Native American territories and the Mexican country... why? because it was there to help themselves... killings, defaulted pacts and agreements... well, we won't go into that... quite embarrassing actually.

Now... they see themselves as the super-heroes of the world, or world cop.... please...

Do not get me wrong, the great majority of Americans are good hearted, generous and above all fair... unfortunately, the really smart and intelligent ones would be caught dead first before participating in politics, both at the local and national level... therefore, with the cream of the crop in self imposed exiled from participating, the feces rises easily. We can see the result -quite easily. so... increasingly, in the last 15 or so years, there has been a push by the religious extremists to take control, of course the democrats are no better, the result being well... a bunch of lunatics with different pet idiocies to promote... however, the extreme right are dangerous zealots that will stop at nothing... there are different levels of idiocy amongst their own castes, from the utterly insane, labeling themselves as the white Aryan nations in the deep forests of certain areas of the US, to the recently discovered pack of lunatics, many part of the US political theater, who are actually convinced that it is their god-given right to demand from all their neighbors to think, act, and live under the guidance of their fear-god-induced rules, or else you WILL BE SENT OUT OF THE COUNTRY or even worse, deal with accordingly... i.e. put you in jail.

that is the reason of stupid laws and campaigns as the "war on drugs" and now the "patriot act"... then you get these ironies that although they are fighting a war on drugs, they allow the oracles of drug dispensation, i.e. psychiatrics to issue all kinds of chemically-based concoctions that numb the brain of the great majority or convince the same majority that there is always a "pill" to cure all ills.... whataloadofdoubletalkingcrap !

You can sense their wrath and (for now) restrained hate that here and there surfaces as they express themselves, (via these Internet free-for-all-houses-of-justified-hate)... indeed, I can picture these bastards, seething, drooling as they type their nonsense.

The irony of all this is that as this resurgence of medieval thinking is allowing them a last minute and desperate hope, dreaming that they are at the dawn of a new prosperity for their cults... not realizing that the reality is actually quite the opposite...

Al-Queda is the new crusade... instead of fighting a real enemy (which they are) intelligently, they have fallen into their game (as it is in all religiously driven wars)... frontal attack to "show them" (and the world) the power of their god-guided sword.

Is that stupid or what...? The reality is this is a Christian vs. Muslim war. Sadly, while the US further entangles into another stupid war, China, possibly Japan, and who knows what other country in south-east Asia may emerge with the real power behind them. The power of trade, not the sword...

Am I all wet? Well, let's see:

All you need to do is look at the facts...

Job growth: both, white and blue collar... the US is getting crushed, why... simple: labor supply (lots and cheap around the word, increasingly more skilled).

Education: the vast majority of Americans are single-tongued -lol- meaning: they can (almost) speak English ONLY. Yet the rest of the world AT LEAST speaks two, and in certain countries... (Ah yes, Europe, Asia, and some parts of Latin America come to mind -g) three if not four are the norm. --We won't delve into math and engineering and such, that's only for the really smart... -HO HO HO.

higher education i.e. universities, continue to be of high caliber... many foreign students attend these institutions as well as the more intelligent Americans... but somehow, this is not being "transmitted" to how the country is run... (See above, feces rises when the smart people for good reason abandon positions of leadership.)

Immigration... (Oops)... Look at what is happening with the Hispanic population, (primarily in the western states), and to a lesser extent, the Asian population... this is a stealth monster... In a few years, this will become clearer... Hispanics no longer will be a 'minority' ... 'putting the J back in Texas' will be put in the ballot -LOL!!

I suppose that with this, one could say that the American population will be T LEAST bi-lingual LOLOLOLOLOL...

When it comes to birth control and even abortion, I laugh at these self righteous morons squawking opposing such regardless of circumstances... yet I do not see these cockatoos volunteering throughout the third world to TAKE the gazillions of unwanted babies that are forced upon the women in these countries because the respective husbands are drunks machos who won't take no for an answer when it comes to having sex with their wives, (another god-given-right in their stupid gnarled piece of crap they call brain)

So... wait for the Hispanic population to be under the 'turbo-assisted' power-pack effect that will have upon the respective population growth... ROFLMAO...

Let's see these jesus-wackos squawk as hard as they are moaning now when population explosion will be taking place in their back yard...

I am always amazed at how politicians ALWAYS ignore demographics, in spite of their claims to the contrary... what they look at ONLY is "how many votes" can they get... they have no concept of how to manage economic resources, I doubt most politicians have any concept of what economics is.... such as the allocation of productive resources, seeking its maximum optimization... surely politicians are experts at "optimization and proper resource allocation" -roflol

I want to comment on why foreigners are attracted to the US...

Basically, they are attracted to a concept, not specifically a physical country. The concept of freedom of the individual to choose his/her own destiny and to OWN and respect private property.... o p p o r t u n i t y (not guarantee) and most certainly NOT be told one must act according to a pack of lunatics who believe in the man-in-the-sky-theory... "freedom of religion" does NOT mean I must eat YOUR religion... if you want to pray, then pray until you are blue in the face, in fact, as far as I am concern, these fanatics could pray ALL DAY FRIGGING LONG, but they should do it INSIDE THEIR HEAD, I do not need to hear it.

Unfortunately, this concept has been eroded to the point that I doubt very much it truly exists in the original form these days... it still exists and indeed the US is still the best place... but given the events of late and the direction that the politicians are taking, I am not too sure it will last...

And... Like those who started this great country came from elsewhere... it may be due time for greener pastures... that is without the help of the zealots who no doubt will come to tell me that it is time already... because they cling on to a past that no longer has possibilities to be.

These Americans remind me of spoiled brats who have mismanaged their inheritance and now, like the little children they are, they cannot bear people who had more humble beginnings are eating their lunch in their own back yard, so they get mad and say... Leave, you cannot play wih MY ball no more... bunch of low class pathetic clowns!

They forgot what made the country great... competition and innovation. I also laugh when after trumpeting capitalism the world over... now they are crying because... the world has learnt and they are beating the pants off the US... instead of reacting and competing accordingly, all they do is moan saying that these guys are bad and evil business people "exploiting" third world countries... yeah right... and what if these jobs would not be offered ? would the people receiving the jobs be happier? I mean getting hungry happier ? right...

All of a sudden I hear US labor union leaders becoming advocates of third word causes ? HO HO HO.... I wonder if the Union of Hypocrites are expanding their membership...

I love Laissez Faire... and I can easily say that it no longer is here... only a few spots remain. Increasingly, to be a real Laissez Faire practitioner, one has to become a 'citizen of the world' and flow accordingly, like capital does these days.

Unless of course, somehow we could get rid of the maniacs that for now are at the helm, except we may be approaching the point of no return.

Anyway.... end of rant.... I will now sit back and enjoy the movie re-play and see if I can predict the outcome...
