Jake, your horseshit articles about Kerry and the Vietnam war ring way hollow.

Was Kerry right? Do you care? Was the war winnable? Do you care? Was the aim of the war worth the lives of Americans and Vietnamese? Do you care or is it only about puffing up your chest (a man who never saw combat and risked nothing), and claiming "we're number 1?"

Here's a little reality for you Jakey; the most decorated man in military history with 9 silver stars and two distinguished service medals AGREES WITH WHAT KERRY SAID. He agrees about the atrocities and he ALSO spoke out against the war at about the same time Kerry did.

His name is Colonel Hackworth and here's what he said:

"He has said the March, 1968, massacre that killed more than 500 villagers was an indictment of an Army leadership corps that consistently rotated itself to pad officers' resumes - and cared more about protecting their jobs than righting wrongs.

And last December he told the New York Times that the Vietnam War "was an atrocity from the get-go" and 'there were hundreds of My Lais.'...

He had spoken out against the war in June, 1971, prompting the Army to look into his background. They discovered a host of rules violations but did not court-martial him - instead letting him quietly retire to Australia, where he would run a restaurant, protest against nuclear war, and be awarded a United Nations Medal of Peace."

In fact, Jake, you might want to read the whole series of articles on the "Tiger Force" and get a little better idea of what American men are capable of in times of war and what the real truth of the Vietnam war was. Maybe if you have a better understanding of the context within which Kerry took action you won't be so naive as to post every partisan Republican inspired smear story so quickly .

Or is it just that you're being impartial, can't make up your mind and simply "happen" to stumble upon and republish smear articles on Kerry and worshipful articles on the Bush Administration?
