Yiwu it seems to me that you are completely clueless as far as the ethnic rivalries in the ME are concerned. The Kurds wanted for many many years a country of their own. Baghdad was a important cultural and economic center for thousands of years and the other cities south of Baghdad are mostly holly places to the Shiite.

Is like saying that Pakistan, Bangladesh and India should be one country because the British decided so.

Kurds and Shiite are not the same at all and have different religious heritage.

And BTW the Kurds WANT their OWN COUNTRY NOW!!! and the US is not supporting this concept.

The Brit's invented Iraq and unrest was there for centuries
